Salida Lions Traditions

At Salida Elementary School we celebrate many annual traditions on campus each year. Some of those traditions are:
- Red Ribbon Week dress up days to show our focus on saying no to drugs
- Holiday Dress Up days including a staff Ugly Sweater contest, and musical performances
- Book Character Day every March to celebrate Dr Seuss's birthday
- 50's Day on the 50th Day of School
- J-Day every fall when the students Jump, Jog, Jitter and Jive
- Hour of Code every Decemeber with Miss Joann to be introduced to computer coding
- 100th Day of School when our students and staff dress up as 100 year olds
- College and Career Week
- Spring Garden Fun Run when our students and staff dress up as flowers and bugs and run laps through the course the PE teachers set up
